The course aims to develop skills in analysis and integrated and innovative management of local and regional problems, territorially based. It intends to respond to the management challenges brought by the ongoing decentralization process and by the new metropolitan/intermunicipal and municipal competences. The training comprises 10 curriculum units: Governance and Good Local Governance; Regional and Local Finance and Taxation; Mobility and Sustainability; Management of Regional and Local Entities and Networks; Introduction to Territorial Analysis; New Challenges for Local Government; Public Procurement and Purchasing; Urban and Territorial Policies; Crisis Management, Security and Citizenship; Financial Control and Management of Community Funds. It lasts 1250 hours (300 contact hours) in a total of 60 ECTS and is aimed at local politicians, senior managers and professionals from municipalities, inter-municipal entities and other local structures and managers in Public Administration and in the Public Business Sector.
